C.P.E. is a manufacturer of high quality protective equipment for police, military and security forces. We have customers all over the world but our main areas are Europe and the USA.Most of our products are NATO certificated and have therefore NSN (NATO) numbers which is a status of our quality. The production of all Ballistic products takes place at our main head office and factory in Finland, the same with all R & D work. The production of Riot and Training equipment takes place in Prague and is performed by VHV OPUS, AS.
Our policy is to have very close contact with the end users and develop equipment they really need. The experience we have got especially for the last two years from our end users who have been in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan has been very important. That type of feedback makes our product even better in short and longer terms.
Our Riot equipment has shown that it has very high level of protection. A lot of police and military personnel have used our products in very hard and violent riots in different parts of the world.
The feedback; they feel safe and C.P.E. has reduced the risk of injuries to a minimum!
The Training equipment is one big and important part of our products. Both police and military do more realistic training today than four/five years ago, and none expect injuries during training. The need for such a type of equipment will increase in the future.
C.P.E. has one of the best production capacities for Riot and Training equipment in the world, thanks to VHV-OPUS, a.s. in Prague.
C.P.E. has used of lot resources on Ballistic protection for the last three years, our vests are used by several police and military forces including NATO forces in Afghanistan and Iraq.We have been working with a totally new ballistic concept for the last ten months and we introduced it on the market on the 5th of October this year.
The line is called: Tac TOP
Soldiers are carrying 6/7kg of Kevlar or other material for nothing, the vest will stop pistol ammunition but the threat is minimum AK 47 Kalasnikov or similar. Normally you add two heavy Insert plates to stop these rounds and get 0,015-sqm covering.
The total weight for this solution is minimum12/13 kg. With C.P.E.´s Tac TOP solution, we offer 360 degrees protection of the upper body against
AK 47, the weight is approx. 7kg and the area of covering is 0,4-sqm. By adding very thin extra protection, we can stop 7,62*51 AP, 5,56 SS 109 etc. A Tokarev Steel Core solution with 360 degrees covering will be approx. be 5kg heavy, it will stop whatever knife attack too.
For the first time in history, a flexible, light weighted solution against rifle ammunitions.
